By road.
Coming from Zurich, we recommend taking the Gossau exit from the A1; coming from St. Margrethen, take the St. Gallen-Kreuzbleiche exit. Follow the signs for Appenzell and then Weissbad.
Paid outdoor parking spaces and parking spaces in the hotel's underground garage are available.
A1: Zurich – St. Gallen, Winkeln exit, Herisau – Appenzell – Wasserauen

Zurich – Weissbad 98 km, travel time 1 1/4 hours.
Kloten Zurich Airport – Weissbad, travel time 1 hour.
St. Gallen – Weissbad 25 km, travel time 1/2 hour.
By rail.
We recommend traveling by public transport. We will be happy to pick you up at Appenzell station if you let us know in advance. If you travel to Weissbad station, the resort is just a two-minute walk away.
From Zurich:
In Gossau, change from the SBB to the Appenzeller Bahnen railway line towards Weissbad.
From Munich / Rorschach:
At St. Gallen main station, change from the SBB to the Appenzeller Bahnen railway line towards Appenzell / Weissbad.
From Lucerne / Rapperswil:
In Herisau, change from the Südostbahnen to the Appenzeller Bahnen in the direction of Appenzell / Weissbad.
Weissbad train station is 200 meters from the Hotel Hof Weissbad.
By air.
You can arrive by air via Zurich and Altenrhein airports. A helicopter can also land next to the hotel.
