By road.
If coming from Zurich, we recommend taking the Gossau exit from the A1; if coming from St. Margrethen, take the St. Gallen-Kreuzbleiche exit. Follow the signs for Appenzell and then Weissbad.
Paid outdoor parking spaces as well as parking spaces in the hotel’s underground garage are available.
A1: Zurich – St. Gallen, Winkeln exit, Herisau – Appenzell – Wasserauen

Zurich Kloten Airport – Weissbad, travel time 1 hour
St. Gallen – Weissbad 25 km, travel time 1/2 hour
Public transportation.
By rail.
We recommend traveling by public transportation. We’d be happy to pick you up at the Appenzell train station upon prior arrangement. If you travel to the Weissbad train station, the resort is just a two-minute walk away.
From Zurich:
In Gossau, transfer from the SBB to the Appenzeller Bahnen in the direction of Weissbad.
From Munich / Rorschach:
At St. Gallen Central Station, transfer from the SBB to the Appenzeller Bahnen in the direction of Appenzell / Weissbad.
From Lucerne / Rapperswil:
In Herisau, transfer from the Südostbahnen to the Appenzeller Bahnen in the direction of Appenzell / Weissbad.
The Weissbad train station is located 200 meters from the Hotel Hof Weissbad.
Airplane.
By air.
Travel by air is possible via the airports in Zurich and Altenrhein. A helicopter can also land next to the hotel.
