In the summer of 2027, our park will once again become a stage. On four Saturday evenings, you can look forward to selected Swiss and international acts—ranging from blues and R&B to Irish folk and Swiss pop.

Look forward to performances by Philipp Fankhauser, Lisa Oribasi, The Led Farmers, and Baba Shrimps, accompanied by a summery 3-course meal and an atmospheric evening on our covered terrace overlooking the park.

Schedule:

Philipp Fankhauser has been performing on stage for four decades and is one of the defining voices of Swiss blues. In this special concert, he reveals a more personal side: without a large band, but with just his guitar, voice, and stories from an eventful life as a musician.

Together with Flo Bauer on guitar and vocals, Fankhauser tells and plays his way through his blues story—from his earliest musical role models to experiences between Chicago and Switzerland. Spontaneous, direct, and with plenty of room for improvisation, the result is a concert that feels almost as if music and stories are being shared in a small, intimate circle.

For 20 years, Baba Shrimps have been a mainstay of Swiss pop music. From sold-out clubs to major stages as the opening act for Kings of Leon and Bryan Adams, the Zurich-based band has made a name for itself with its distinctive songwriting and powerful live presence.

To celebrate their anniversary, Baba Shrimps are showing a particularly intimate side: in an unplugged setting, well-known songs like “Road to Rome,” “I Don’t Wanna Hide,” and “By The Window” are stripped down to their essentials and reinterpreted. The trio is supported by their longtime collaborator Martin Deplazes. An evening of handmade pop music, harmonies, and songs spanning two decades of Baba Shrimps.

The concerts take place outdoors on our covered terrace overlooking the park. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a jacket if needed.

We’ll treat you to a sophisticated 3-course summer menu—available with meat or as a vegetarian option. A glass of champagne or an exciting non-alcoholic alternative is included as a welcome drink.

Adrian Kübler’s—alias Tacchi’s—songs are little stories that make the audience laugh, reflect, or hum along. He tells stories, interacts with the audience, and makes them laugh—without any reservations, as if he had all the time in the world.

The singer-songwriter from the Appenzell region captivates audiences with her warm, powerful voice and great authenticity. Her songs blend modern pop sounds with honest lyrics—in the local dialect or in English. In 2024, she was honored as “SRF 3 Best Talent” at the Swiss Music Awards, her first major milestone. With her soulful voice and the Appenzell dialect, she joins the ranks of award winners such as Nemo and Lo & Leduc. At the awards ceremony, she said, “Apparently, everyone from Innerrhödler voted for me.” Around 16,000 people—a wonderful sign of regional support. Her performance here therefore feels like a true home game and promises to be an evening full of connection and emotion.

We are thrilled to welcome Pat Burgener as the final act on our park stage! From the snowboard slopes to acclaimed singer-songwriter. Since 2014, the professional snowboarder has been captivating audiences as a singer-songwriter with catchy melodies and profound lyrics. His hit “Staring At The Sun” has over 4.2 million streams on Spotify. In 2021, he was named “Best Talent” by Radio SRF 3. Whether performing solo or with his band, Pat has wowed audiences at events including the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Gurtenfestival, and Zermatt Unplugged.

It all began with Marius Bear—the local musician from Appenzell. He kicked off our summer concert series, and we’re proud to have had him perform for us.

The musician brings together what at first glance seems incompatible: self-assured strength, vulnerability, and the courage to reveal his weaknesses. His artistic journey is as extraordinary as his distinctive voice, with which Marius Bear has been thrilling a rapidly growing audience for six years now.
