We're courting you...
Eating your genes
In January, Andrea Eigenmann, Director of the Health Center, and Iris Schrepfer, MeD-TeN® therapist, took on a responsible role at the Klinik im Hof. They are both advocates of promoting more individuality in medicine.
"It is very important to us that we always respond to the individual health needs of our guests. That's why we are constantly creating new offers. Good results can be achieved through complementary medicine in combination with conventional medicine, especially in nutrition," says Andrea Eigenmann.

Andrea Eigenmann: "Thanks to my genotyping, I now know which foods have a positive effect on my body and that, as a 'gatherer,' I should eat a protein-rich diet and keep my carbohydrate intake as low as possible."
MeD-TeN® combines the findings of modern medicine with traditional European naturopathy and offers us the opportunity to stimulate and support our body's self-healing powers in a natural way through proper nutrition.
Change your genetic destiny
Many environmental factors, but also our own genes, determine how nutrition influences our well-being. This varies from person to person. By analyzing your family history, measuring your body proportions, and determining your blood type, we establish a connection to your individual metabolism. There are six different genotypes: Explorer, Warrior, Hunter, Gatherer, Teacher, and Nomad. Through genotyping, each guest receives a personalized nutrition plan and never has to starve themselves with questionable crash diets again.

Become the best version of yourself.
A MeD-TeN® week looks like this: Guests arrive on Sunday and receive initial information and the weekly schedule when they check in. On Monday, the first item on the agenda is detailed information about the background and essence of MeD-TeN®. This is followed by measurements of each participant's body proportions. Family and nutritional history is discussed individually. By the evening, guests receive their individual GenoType. On Wednesdays, there is more time for questions or a naturopathic treatment. In addition, there is an interim discussion in the group. Participants have the opportunity to share their initial experiences and receive additional tips on how to integrate their GenoType into their everyday lives. The final discussion takes place on Fridays. There is also time for any open questions.

By the way: every Monday evening at 5 p.m., there is a health aperitif with Andrea Eigenmann, Director of the Health Center, in the tea corner. Stop by during your next stay.
