Welcome aboard in mid-November. In collaboration with Reisebüro Mittelthurgau and Twerenbold Reisen, you can enjoy a river cruise to Strasbourg from Friday, November 17 to Saturday, November 18, or from Saturday, November 18 to Sunday, November 19, featuring many delicacies from our head chef Käthi Fässler.

You will travel in a comfortable coach from your chosen pick-up point to Basel's Rhine harbor. At 2:30 p.m., your riverboat will set sail for Strasbourg. You will be treated to sweet and savory delicacies during the welcome aperitif.

In the evening, you will be welcomed to the festival with an amuse-bouche in the lounge and introduced to the guest chef. The highlight of the trip will follow in the Excellence Restaurant with a grand gala dinner. You will learn interesting facts about the philosophy of Hof Weissbad head chef Käthi Fässler and how the individual courses are prepared. You can opt for a wine accompaniment or choose wines from the wine list specially compiled for the menu. Käthi Fässler and her kitchen crew will then take to the stage to present their culinary creations to the audience. Round off the evening at the bar or with live music in the lounge.

Bonjour Strasbourg! Start the day in style with a delicious breakfast à la Excellence. Then you'll have time to explore the city. The return journey is in the early afternoon – or you can continue your trip with another gourmet trip from the Excellence Gourmet Festival.
