In the fall, we should take some time out and enjoy the beauty of nature. Wind down, relax, and recharge your batteries. On long walks around our hotel toward Glandenstein, nature reveals its most beautiful side with its colorful autumn foliage—accompanied by the murmur of the nearby stream.

On the way there, signs sway on the former tennis court. Finally! Our anticipation is immense, for they are the harbingers of our new sauna and bathhouse, the completion of which is rapidly approaching.

The plan is for a two-story circular structure made of spruce wood with plenty of glass, nestled into the wonderful natural surroundings like a cut diamond. In the outdoor area, a natural swimming pond and an outdoor pool with hot brine will soon offer guests an open-air bathing experience. The hay and Finnish saunas, as well as the steam bath, form the heart of the new facility. Large windows allow the gaze to wander over the landscape, bringing the nearby Alpstein with its rocky splendor into the cozy, warm surroundings.

Letting go of stress and tension, followed by a gentle awakening: that is haki®. Harald Kitz’s haki® method lets you float and relax in 33°C spring water. This unique treatment, as well as all other haki® applications, lead to a soothing, deep relaxation. It always delights me to see how quickly haki® has become a favorite among our guests.

In keeping with our time-tested three pillars of health—being healthy, staying healthy, and getting healthy—our therapy team, led by Dr. Johannes Keel, works with professionalism, skill, and compassion.

The combination of conventional and naturopathic medicine is trending. Our MeD-TeN® program for determining your personal dietary type is very popular. Many F.X. Mayr regulars benefit every year from a successful treatment program led by our F.X. Mayr physician, Dr. Gerold Honegger. As the first certified F.X. Mayr Center in Switzerland, we offer a unique environment.

Our wellness team looks forward to pampering you at our wellness hotel and—hopefully in the near future—in the new bath and sauna house with a high level of expertise and plenty of warmth.
