At the Resort Hof Weissbad, family time becomes something special: children, parents, and grandparents enjoy relaxing days in the Appenzell region—with fine cuisine, swimming fun, nature experiences, and plenty of space for shared moments. Our three-generation discount adds an extra touch of charm to your stay: The age difference between the oldest and youngest family members is converted into Swiss francs and deducted from the room bill of the oldest family member.

Example:

If the grandmother is 76 years old and the youngest grandchild is 4, you will receive CHF 72 discount to the room bill of the oldest family member.

76 years – 4 years = CHF 72 family discount

The three-generation discount applies when three generations stay together.
The discount is deducted from the room bill of the oldest family member.
Children up to 5 years old stay for free in their parents’ room.
The Appenzell Holiday Card is included for stays of 3 nights or more.
Use of the swimming and sauna facilities is permitted for guests aged 16 and older.
We would be happy to advise you personally on the right room combination.

In winter, you’ll find a natural ice rink at our resort.
In the immediate vicinity, you will find the Schwende Snow Sports School.
In summer, you’ll find great Children’s playgrounds with fire pits, tobogganing, and a zipline at Kronberg, stroller-friendly hiking trails, hiking with alpacas, and much more.

Age	Conditions
Children up to 5 years old	stay in their parents’ room for free.
Children aged 6 to 15	stays in their parents’ room for CHF 80 per night, including breakfast.
Teenagers aged 16 and older	are considered adults.
