Hofhaus

Our small, charming gingerbread house.

Outside, the old, dark wooden façade still stands, while inside, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with the latest Miele appliances shines. The long, old pine table seats up to 14 people.

The ideal location for small family celebrations, special customer events, strategy seminars and workshops, lectures, and cooking classes.

The basic rental fee is CHF 250.00 (fully furnished, set up, including final cleaning). Lunch and dinner are available, always exclusive.

Flower workshop

During the day, our in-house florists work on beautiful flower arrangements, and in the evening, the otherwise public location can be rented privately.

The unique ambience surrounded by fresh cut flowers and beautiful accessories is one of a kind. The long wooden table seats up to 20 people. Ideal for private events – from aperitifs to gala dinners or customer events.

The basic rental fee is CHF 250.00 (fully furnished, set up, including final cleaning). Lunch on request, dinner possible, always exclusive.

Hofchäsi

Rustic comfort for every occasion. Our Hofchäsi offers the perfect setting for social events in a rustic and cozy atmosphere.

Whether it's a company party, family celebration, or cozy get-together – an authentic experience in a unique atmosphere is guaranteed.

Herb garden

Our herb garden is a place of power full of scents, colors, and diversity – ideal for an aperitif with family, friends, or business partners. Around 80 different herbs grow in 71 lovingly designed beds, including lavender, echinacea, and tobacco and hemp plants as natural plant protection. The garden was designed by the Alfred Vogel Foundation and invites visitors to stroll and linger along its winding paths and large, circular plaza. Surrounded by typical Appenzell nature, it offers a magnificent view of the imposing Alpstein mountains. The herbs are used in our kitchen and in the herb workshop. Guided tours, aperitifs, or workshops can be booked individually by appointment.
